Woodland Party
Partial lockdown? yes. Muddy soggy wet cold weather outside? Yes. Party time? Well, its January again and K is turning 9, so YES! We brought a bit of nature home on the occasion.
We started with some decoration, because what is a birthday without balloons, banners and fairy lights?

Then we arranged our rich collection of branches, sticks and pinecones on the table, together with the right amount of cupcakes and cake-pops.
We used the fun ant toothpicks from the bugs party and the kids loved them.

Then, well, since our woodland (read: park) treasure hunt had to be cancelled due to the weather conditions, we played Twister and sang karaoke, but, well, you didn't need to know that. It was all very woodland-themed and I hope it inspires your own inner party animal. :)
