Sitting Pillows
Terrace weather is here! Enjoy your sitting corner and bring some cozy summer feeling in your life with this simple project. You will need:
Durable fabric for the pillow cases
(optional) contrasting fabric for decoration
Foam or other stuffing ( I used the foam from an old broken changing table inlay)
Matching thread
Sewing machine and scissors
Cut your durable fabric into two equal rectangles. Pin the decorative fabric on the right side of one of the rectangles. Stitch together.

Cut your durable fabric into two equal rectangles. Pin the decorative fabric on the right side of one of the rectangles. Stitch together.
Cut out a long strip of the durable fabric with a width slightly bigger than the height of your foam (or other pillow filling). Sew as shown below.
Continue attaching the long strip first to one of the rectangles, then stitch the ends together.
Sew the long strip to the other rectangle, leaving an opening. Use the opening to stuff your foam in.
Sew the opening after stuffing. I was considering a zipper, but I end up washing the pillows with the cases anyway, so directly stitched it closed. Easy! And I am ready to enjoy my chill zone. Lots of sunshine for you too!
