Snowflakes
Closer to Christmas, crafts are getting more and more festive. Kids are allowed to make huge messes, eat sugar and make messes again. Well, this project is no exception.
All you need is a glue gun, silicone mat or similar so the glue doesn't stick, regular glue and glitter. And a lot of patience while you're watching the destruction of your place caused by the glue/ glitter combo.
For a start, make two sizes of snowflakes with the glue gun. Let dry on the mat.

Next, glue the smaller size snowflake on top of the bigger one. You should have something like this (no worries, I know it's not pretty yet):
Step three. Find an elf. Or two. And give them glitter:
My elves were very productive.
Even I made one. You can hang them on the tree, or on the window, stick them on little magnets for a festive office or just put on the table. They are fun and very easy to create, and make a great holiday activity. And yes, you'll be glitter-y for a while. :)
Happy crafting!
