Pirate Ship Cupcake Stand
A beautiful centerpiece for a pirate party, let me introduce you to: pirate ship cupcake stand. Cheap and easy, just follow the steps below.
You will need:
1. Sturdy cardboard. I used delivery boxes;
2. Stripy wrapping paper for a sail;
3. Paints and (optionally) a Sharpie to draw the crossbones;
4. Hot glue;
5. (optional) Paper tape.
Cut the following pieces for your ship:

Cut the following pieces for your ship:
Put them together. No glue needed at this point.
I decided at this point to make some holes in the ship. If you want to do that, better do it before putting the whole thing together.
Next, I taped it with some paper tape (until we ran out of it) to smooth the sharp edges. This step is optional. Once ready, paint your ship, preferably with acrylic paints, so the cardboard is at least a bit waterproof. Not that we are intending to really put that in water.
While you are waiting for the ship to dry, paint your main sail.
Hot glue two masts out of two cardboard rectangles with a little circle on top.
Glue the sails to the masts. We even put a little pirate flag on top. Yo ho ho, we are ready to go!
