Family Monster Hats
This is a very easy DIY project to make matching hats for big and small that you can wear long after Halloween is over. All you need is:
1. A hat
2. Random scraps of fabric, felt. Polyfill (optional)
3. Bath sponges
4. Plastic eyes or Fimo eyes (already baked and cooled)
5. Needle/thread, glue gun
6. Textile paint (optional)

Cut out a fabric circle, fill with fabric scraps or polyfill, sew together into an eyeball and on to your hat. I used some old t-shirts, but socks are also a good option. Repeat as many times as you want (from experience, children prefer to have more than two eyes). Glue eyelashes from felt and a plastic eye in the middle. You will have something like that:
Remember, you are creating a monster, it doesn't have to be perfect, and the eyelashes should not necessarily be on top.
Next, hot glue/stitch together some horns, fill with fabric scraps or polyfill and attach them to the hat. In the base, add some of that bath sponge for extra fluff.

Then, stitch on some felt teeth (one, two, three rows?):
And you're ready! Now give that hat to its happy owner!
And if you decide to wear it in winter, you will always know where the members of your family are.
