DIY PLANT HANGER
In a pinch? Can make a knot? This is a simple project for you, makrame beginners and garden enthusiasts!
You will need:
1. Yarn/ Sisal/ Makrame thread of your choice;
2. A hook (optional);
3. A big bead (optional);
4. Scissors and the pot you want to hang. :)
You will need:
1. Yarn/ Sisal/ Makrame thread of your choice;
2. A hook (optional);
3. A big bead (optional);
4. Scissors and the pot you want to hang. :)
Start with measuring the pot you want to hang, and how low you want it. Cut four equal strips of yarn/sisal rope of double the length you need. Fold in two and make a knot to attach to your hook.
Join each two strings with a simple knot, at approximately the same distance from the hook, where you want your plant to be. Join below neighbouring strings as shown.
Continue joining with simple knots until you have enough length to hold your plant pot. I chose pots for hanging with integrated saucer. If your pot needs a saucer, just hang them together.
Finally, close on the bottom with a bead (optional) and a knot.
Put your plant pot and there you have it - your own 5-minute fancy hanger. Enjoy!
