DIY Snow Globe
An easy idea for a magical project.
You will need:
1. A jar with a tight fitting lid;
2. A figurine or several figurines to fit in the jar;
3. Distilled water;
4. Glicerine;
5. Glitter;
6. Hot glue gun.

Start with making a small base out of hot glue for your figurine on the inside of the jar lid. You can decorate it with glitter or stones or just anything, or leave it plain.
Next, put some glitter on the bottom of the (clean) jar and fill up almost to the top with distilled water. Add a few spoons of glicerine. Stir well. The more glicerine you add, the thicker your solution is, so the slower your snowflakes fall. It creates a real whirly whimsical effect. If you are creating a winter wonderland scene, you can buy fake snow for snow globes. I used glitter since it's pretty and I always have it at handy.
Now all you have to do is screw the top with your figurine and shake. :)

You can optionally paint the lid or make a small fancy base for your jar, but it's pretty even if you leave it like that.
