Dollhouse Bed
From cardboard! Yes, you heard me, regular cardboard. Making dollhouse furniture can be fun and easy. I'm still waiting for the easy part :)
So, you would need:
1. Cardboard;
2. Glue, hot glue gun (optional);
3. Acrylic paint;
4. Fabrics and stuffing for the bedding and mattress.
Start with cutting out the bedframe. Print below pieces, and connect them with two strips on the sides.

Start with cutting out the bedframe. Print below pieces, and connect them with two strips on the sides.
Glue a bottom to hold everything together. Lightweignt cardboard will do.
Next, your mattress. Glue together several cardboard pieces, wrap them in something soft (here I used wrapping foam), dry fit it in the bed, so you don't have to make corrections, then stitch. You will later wrap it all in fabric instead of a bed sheet, and glue to the bottom.
I wanted to make a vintage bed, so I drew and repeated some designs on the cardboard with hot glue.
Paint it all with acrylic paint and let dry.
Now you glue your mattress in, and measure your blanket width.
And cut some fabric for the duvet and pillows.
To make the pillows: sew together on wrong side, leaving a small opening, turn, stuff and close the opening with ladder stitch. If you feel like it, you can embroider something nice on it.
And there you go, your bed is ready!
Happy crafting :)
