Bathroom Vanity 2
Ever since I made the dollhouse bathroom vanity project, I have been upset with myself for not coming up with a prettier version. So here is is, my vanity/sink, all updated. :)
You will need:
A small mirror
Plastic container for the sink (I used the cheese part of a cheese and crackers box)
Cardboard
Polymer clay (I used Fimo)
About 3 cm piece of a wire for the spout
Strong project glue (I used UNU Alleskleber) and hot glue.
Start with making four legs out of polymer clay. Work on clean surface with clean hands, especially if you picked a light color clay.

Start with making four legs out of polymer clay. Work on clean surface with clean hands, especially if you picked a light color clay.
Shape the legs. Make sure all four have the same length.
Grab your container. I cut the right half of this one:
Measure your container, and cut a rectangular polymer clay piece, slightly longer than the width of your future sink. Attach to the legs. Repeat for the back side. Make sure both front and back are the same size.
Bake the front and back according to your polymer clay instructions. I put a piece of paper in the middle, to make sure the parts are straight with the legs attached.
Cut a cardboard casing for your sink, to match exactly the width of the polymer clay parts. Provide space for the mirror. Glue your plastic container to the casing.
Glue the front and back to the casing and sink.
Glue the mirror.
Cut a small hole and add the spout. Drip hot glue on either side to make the knobs.
Indicate hot and cold water (optional).
And go play!
