...makes perfect! And to prove that, I tried taking photos of the moon eclipse (didn't really happen, cause I couldn't find the moon behind all those rain clouds), followed by an attempt to take photos of fireworks. All I learned is that if you don't have the practice, you better be really well prepared. Oh well, I will try again next year. For now I can tell you how NOT to do things. And show you the shot I liked the most: If you think this is bad, you should see my photos from the 2017 photo marathon, that, ironically, placed me on the highest spot I've ever been at: Enjoy!
Colour, that is. Or, should I say, it's in the eye of the beholder. As if masking the true self , the soul of things. Maybe that's why black and white photography is so powerful - it lets you see beyond this protective film.
I love taking photos in colour. But, once a year, the black and white photo challenge happens. And makes me think about how art affects people. Here is my piece of shades of gray. Enjoy. ... of my beloved and most used lens that I managed to break last weekend - the yet unpublished photos from last year's Wiener Fotomaraton.
There's something fascinating about playing with your kids' toys. Especially the sensory ones :) I'm having a magical Monday, let me share a piece of it with you. (Thanks, R!)
A part of the "Less is more" challenge I took part in, feel free to print my [so amazingly awesome] photos for your wall, but only for personal use :)
Totally forgot! Here the links to the photography posts so far: Enjoy clicking :)
Nowadays photography has become such a popular hobby, that often people decide to step over to the professional side of it and become a photographer. Or think they've become one.
Well, I'm not. I like taking pictures, especially when I can convince the camera to see what I see. And I think this the whole point about photography - we are all looking at the same thing, but we don't see the same. If you manage to show the others a different side of what they are looking at, to make them notice all those details otherwise unnoticed, then you are good at it. I will post here some photos for you to see the world through my eyes (ok, ok, camera lense). Random, since even I need to be random sometimes. Enjoy! |
