Pinecone Ornaments
Cheap, fancy and very trendy decoration: an easy afternoon project for the whole family that leaves a sparkle in your heart (and, most likely, in your hair as well).
You will need:
1. Pinecones;
2. Glitter and glue, glitter glue, glitter paint or spray;
3. Mini screw eyes or hooks;
4. (optional) Ribbon.

Start by gently screwing the eye/hook on the pinecone. Now, I see Zara Home sells pinecones with sisal rope hot glued on top, but I think a proper hook looks nicer.
Dip the pinecone in a bit of glue and a lot of glitter, then shake the excess off. I tried glitter sprays, glitter acrylic paint, glitter glue, but the plain old glitter is the sparkliest version there is.
You can decide to cover one part of the pinecone, or the whole thing. I found that I liked them half-covered best.
Once you are done sparkling your life and working space, let the pinecones dry. Attach a ribbon and there you have it - a great winter decoration for both indoors and outdoors.
Have fun!
