paper basket
Paper basket, the easy way. Or what happens when you realise you are not that good at weaving.
You will need:
1. Light cardboard
2. Brads
3. Scissors
4. Glue (optional)
5. Decoration - flowers, napkins, glitter, etc. (optional)

Start with cutting your cardboard into a square, or directly print and cut the free template I created:
You should get to:
Cut a cardboard strip for a handle. Fold and glue in several layers in order to make it sturdier (optional). Use a brad to attach the handle to the cut stripes on each side of the basket:
Just realised I have failed to fix one of the strips in the photo above. Oh well, the basket still holds.
Finish attaching the handle on the other side. If you want, you can decorate with cut flowers on the outside of the basket, or a bow. I just made a pretty napkin to put inside. If you are using it for Easter, maybe you can add some fake grass. And chocolate. :)
Happy crafting!
