BUGS Party

Call them bugs, insects, mini beasts... They seem to be really amusing for kids. And logically, a good theme for a birthday party. You can easily fix insect-themed food:

And games? Oh well, games as well. Our kids prefer to play with a ball or on the trampoline, but we did have one game: eat the gummy tarantula on a string without using your hands. That was so much fun! A bit of a cropped photo here to get the idea. :)

Since it's summer, and we were outside, we just had to have a piñata. This one features not just sweets, but also a bunch of realistic plastic insects. So TO can have fun, too :)

And, of course, the cake. It was very easy to chose that one:

To top it up, TO came up with the usual party favors, this year with a bit of a twist: the bug-themed pouches contained also some real snack worms. Cause, why not. They actually tasted alright, and the kids were adventurous enough to try them.
