Bath salts
How to make some excellent Christmas presents for stressed people. A tiny home spa everyone will appreciate.
I have been looking at different bath salts recipes, and I finally settled for Epsom salts and Himalayan salt, mixed with a few drops of lavender oil and tangerine oil.
It works like this:
2 Cups of Epsom salts
1 Cup of Himalayan salts
A few drops of your favourite essential oil.
Now, here some variations: you could add powdered milk or baking soda, or regular coarse sea salt instead of the Himalayan one. Or you can only use sea salt and essential oil.
Find your favourite essential oil combo. I normally don't like the smell of lavender, but I discovered it works really well when mixed with vanilla or tangerine.
Another hint - many people add food colouring in their salts to make them look fancier. I wouldn't do it, as it stains both your skin and your bathtub. You want to relax, not to rub, right?
Happy relaxing!
PS above little bottles are enough for a feet soak, for a whole bath you would need slightly more.
