Fishing Game

One of the most popular toddler games is easier to make than you think. All you need is some fabric and stuffing, a magnet, a dowel, a string and some brads. Optionally, you can decorate your fish with eyes and scales.

Start by cutting out little fishes out of the fabric.

Stitch, right sides together. Leave a small opening at the mouth of the fish.

Turn and stuff.

Close at the mouth, attaching a brad. If you have a big or heavy fish, choose a bigger size brad, so it holds its weight when picked with a magnet.

(optional) Decorate your fishes!

Next, tie your string on the dowel, wrap a magnet in a (light) piece of cloth, and close with the other side of the string. You have your fishing rod. No go fishing! :)
